1. I remember you saying that you liked Final Fantasy: which is your favourite and why?
Aughh~... ;___; Such a hard choice. For storyline and angst, 7. For graphics and fluff and pure sappyness to my fangirl heart, 8. For anticipation because it just looks SO FRIGGIN COOL, versus13.
2. When did you get into J-Rock and what was it that got you into J-Rock?
Many years ago. At least 3. It connects with FF AND Sai Wa (WTF?). I heard Spirit Dreams Inside (by Laruku, of course) during the end credits of Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within and thought to myself, "That is one cool bass line. That French guy's English is really good as well. If only he didn't sound as nasal singing English, he'd surely hit it big." XDDD And then I COMPLETELY RANDOMLY came across Sai Wa when browsing the net about Laruku (having realised they are Japanese by now) and that was it. Done. Gone. Cemented. *shakes Rin violently XD* Woah...! This is your doing! XD You turned me into a fangirl. 8D You see, that's why I love Sai Wa so much. In my mind, it overlays directly with my introduction to the world f Laruku and hence J-Rock.
3. Favourite L'Arc~en~Ciel song of all time?
Er... (Oh man, I have to choose? alright...) PIECES. Bet you just knew I was going to say that. Ultimate Haitsu. And even without the Haitsu, the combination of music and lyrics overwhelms me every single time.
The lines "Nakanaide nakanaide taisetsu na hitomi yo" and "Daisuki na sono egao kumorasete gomen ne" in particular. Every time I hear Hyde sing "nakanaide", I could cry.
4. How many languages do you speak, and what are they?
English (fluent). Cantonese (fluent). German (advanced). Japanese (intermediate). Mandarin (basic). *counts* So about 5, give or take levels of fluency.
5. Finally, what does your username mean (although I think I can guess, I might be wrong) and why did you choose it?
Midgar is, of course, the now desolate city in which the main events of FFVII took place. Skyline I don't need to explain because you're cool like that. XD
Why I chose it...
I had this image in my head. The username came from it.
